Hola, 2016! We just started planning our wedding, reading suppliers reviews online and contacting them via email.
Of course, we have lot’s of questions on “when to start”, “who to contact”, “which is good” and thinking about all these things are overwhelming, especially if you are managing outside the country. You can only rely everything online. So, I decided to write a post to plan our wedding thru blogging one post a time and to note everything that will come our way.
When is your wedding?
After our engagement, we set a rough date right away. Whenever our friends asking us the date, we said it will be either June (my birth month), August (EJ’s birth day and our in-a-relationship month) or December of 2016. Finally, we have decided – our target wedding date is December 27, 2016 (same engagement day). Hopefully, we can get that date this February. We haven’t book the church and venue, we prefer any days after Christmas before New Year.
Yay! It’s almost two years! We really enjoyed being engaged and were saving for it. We want it to be memorable celebration of our love.
According to MoneyMax, in the Philippines, an estimated cost of PHP 335,000++ for a mid-range, low-key wedding ceremony for about 100 guests. We are aiming for minimum of 150 guest, they are about our family, relatives and friends. To reach our goal, we have a dedicated amount set aside monthly.
For the soon to wed couples too. Please share a tip.. We’d love to know!
Update: I’m moving my wedding blog journey to my blogspot! Please click on the image below 🙂
