We never thought of doing a Singapore engagement shoot since we will be having one with our wedding photographer in Cebu.
We are living in Singapore for almost six years. This place became very special for us – why not? 🙂
We’ve known some friends that are good in photography but were too shy to ask for help because we thought they might be busy.
Just in time, I saw our friend Kuya Royce posted a couple of engagement photos in his Instagram feeds and asked him without hesitation if he can do a shoot for us as well. Were glad that he is very willing to help. He gives us time and for that, we are very grateful.
We scheduled our engagement shoot last Sunday because the following day is a holiday. We took bus 100 from our place, alight at OUE Bayfront then walked to the bus stop at Marina Bay Financial Centre and took bus 400. Aftrer three stops we alight at Marina Barrage.
This is our first time to do a photo shoot together. Here are some of the photos from the first set. We started around 5PM at the seaside area of the Marina Barrage.
I love the light and the windy feel here.
This seaside in Marina Barrage is simply beautiful – windy, quiet and relaxing. A perfect urban hide-away.
Hey fiancé, you are the reason for my smiles. 🙂 EJ is so loving, really sweet and humble man. He likes to cook, watch movies and play games. I loved talking to him and we complement each another a lot.
Second set was at the roof top. There were lots of people hanging around having a family picnic and flying beautiful kites.
With the scenic Singapore skyline as a stunning backdrop.
The amazing view of Singapore skyline.
Our last stop was at Gardens by the Bay, the most common engagement shoot location in Singapore.
The view of the iconic Marina Bay Sands and the signature super trees as a backdrop is very stunning.
We are really happy with how everything went even if we don’t have DIY props, materials, accessories, etc. The weather was perfect and Kuya Royce was a really good photographer.
Thank you guys Kuya Royce, my bridesmaids Gadz and Ate Badith and our friend Ariane for your time spent with us and for making the day such fun. We really enjoyed this photo shoot! 🙂
