Singapore celebrates 49th Birthday at Marina Bay #nationalday2014
Yesterday, we feel so lucky to be invited by our friend Rene to join him and his boss witness the National Day event at The Ritz-Carlton Milenia. He message 6 of us on Viber and I was so excited! At first, I thought traffic would be an issue because of the road closures and the crowd but happily we didn’t faced any problems. Sadly, some of our friends didn’t make it, but we met new friends Felicia (his past colleague) and XL (his boss).

When we reached the place, I was surprised because from the 19th floor lobby, you can immediately see the amazing view of the colorful lights happening at the Marina Bay. Inside the room, you can watch the fantastic view of the event comfortably. XL, switched on the television to hear the sound from the show, too. 🙂 The display of fireworks was one of the highlights of the National Day which we really enjoyed. Every year, we look forward watching the parade only on TV but this time we’re so grateful to watched it live for the very first time.
