follow site We loved to walk around in Chinatown! It’s still a nice “must visit place” in Singapore for stroll and to feel the busyness warm and crowded street. Red colors Chinese arts, calligraphy, culture is all around. You will never get bored while walking and exploring the street because you’ll see many interesting shops selling affordable prices great for gifts and souvenirs, street vendors and street food stalls.

go site Along the way, I cannot help but to admire the architecture of the buildings – the Shophouses. Those were actually homes of the people in the past, and now they are all refurbished into different purposes such as cafes and restaurant, shops, offices etc. You can see Sri Mariamman temple and Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.

go site We stop by at the Buddhist temple. It was a beautiful and vibrant temple and was very crowded with visitors and people praying. We stay outside because I was wearing shorts (Ops! This is my first time wanting to go inside the temple). A friendly reminder for visitors to dress appropriately.
