Yesterday, I went to KK Hospital for my scheduled annual check-up. I had Ultrasound, blood test and OB consultation.
The scan result was not good showing that my ovarian cyst came back after a year. It doesn’t cause any pain right now but the doctor advises to have it remove by surgery. I refused and was seeking for other alternative. I want to cure it naturally.
I read that cyst may develop and simply dissolve on their own without ever being aware they existed.
Some useful info from Ovarian Cyst Miracle ebook below.
What are Ovarian Cyst?
Follicles are small fluid-filled sacs in the ovaries that normally develop into eggs as a natural part of the ovulation process. However, under certain conditions, some follicles migrate to the surface of the ovaries but fail to release an egg. The follicles then become cyst and grow larger with each menstrual cycle. Ovarian cysts most commonly develop among women in their childbearing years but can affect women of all ages.
Poor Dietary Choices
A diet high in refined carbohydrates, processed and toxic foods and low in fresh fruit and vegetables affects biochemical processes within cells, contributes to hormonal imbalance, worsens digestion and interferes with the natural toxic elimination process. Having hormonal imbalance, taking antibiotics, prescription medications and steroids, stress and lack of sleep can contribute to the formation of ovarian cysts.
Over-acidity in the digestive system, usually due to a diet high in acidic foods, is another major factor. The consumption of refined or processed foods spikes blood sugar to high levels. Insulin levels increase in order to control the sudden increase in blood sugar.
Lifestyle Factors That Contributes To PCOS and Dysfunctional Follicles
Stress invoked by either lack of sleep, emotional issues, anxiety or pressure in your daily routine has been scientifically proven to contribute to PCOS and ovarian cyst formation as stress depressed the immune system, causes anovulatory cycles and elevates blood sugar levels.
I just had Laparoscopic or keyhole surgery last year. My 9cm cyst filled with liquid twisted in my right ovary (ovarian torsion) that caused me unbearable pain. First we went at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, doctors thought something wrong in my stomach, it could be appendicitis. They were briefing me already about possible surgery in my stomach but after my CT Scan result they said all is well (Thanks be to God) and the pain causing me was actually an ovarian torsion in my right ovary. They found an ovarian cyst. They immediately request for an ambulance service to transfer me to KK Women’s hospital.
Ovarian torsion on my right ovary – Thanks God for successful operation!
After a year, I have a cysts again but now on the left and no cyst showed on the right.
My period is regular and heavy on first to the second day. I’m still thankful I haven’t experienced pain in my lower abdomen and I don’t feel cramps. I didn’t feel any pain right now.
I am about to get married and hope to get pregnant soon, but this latest news brings me down. I have worries and fears. I don’t want to undergo a surgery again.
Father God, give me much strength to overcome this experience.
Philippians 1:3-4 I thank my God for you, and when I think of you, my prayers are always filled with joy...
I’m always thankful I am surrounded with my family and friends who encourages me everyday. Now, I’m hoping to get rid of the cyst for the good. I want to watch and wait, I need to take herbal and home remedies. I’ll be back in PH next month and this will be the first thing we need to do – OB checkup.
I need to adjust and change again my lifestyle, to reduce stress, to eat many healthy foods and exercise regularly. I hope and I pray that this cyst will shrink and go away by God’s grace. I am faithful that this will be removed and in Jesus name. Please help me pray.
Thank you.
