It’s rainy day today, our management team decided to eat lunch all together and they ordered Pizza Hut.
Before we start, our Operations Manager update us about the past performance of the company. I’m glad to hear some good news from our management team, some announcements and things that we are looking forward until the end of this year is exciting.
This is the second time we had group lunch for this year. The first time is at Seoul Garden, City Square Mall but because two of our colleagues are leaving that time there’s not much update about the company. Somehow, it feels great to have a team lunch occasionally. The power of food to connect people, to become more comfortable with each other is amazing. It is also a time to network and build relationships within the team. I think team lunches we had are a great way to hear and be heard too, some tips and reminders to keep you in line. Another great thing about team lunch is to inspires team members. I hate meetings, but I love short (minutes) talk to get me aligned, motivated, and inspired. Yay! I finally told to my superior about my vacation plans this coming Christmas season. I just need to apply the dates and wait for the approval. I hope more good things comes ahead this year. But above all, I think everyone enjoys the free food, one way to keep employees stomach happy. 🙂
