Joy to the world! We spent our New Year 2015 at home surrounded with our families in the Philippines. After clock turned 12:00 jump and made noise shouting “Happy New Year!”, we gave angpao for parents and Toblerone chocolate from Duty Free I keep for Mama. We also had a family gathering in Pansol, Laguna. This was our family’s first time to spent overnight swimming in hot spring resort.

The sweetest month considered the month of love. We spent Valentine’s Day at home and had dinner outside. We celebrated Chinese New Year of Sheep with my cousin and her boyfriend. We had a chance to explore Chinatown and visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Chingay 2015, themed “We Love SG” in Marina got very beautiful decorations too.

Mother, God’s wonderful gift. March is our mother’s birthday month! My Mama Ging celebrated her 50th birthday and EJ’s mom 47th birthday. We spent the night chatting with them, thanks for the power of technology thru Skype and Facebook video call it helps us get in touch every day being away from home.

Take a break out of the city’s hustle and bustle. This time we visited Nirwana Gardens in Bintan with our dear friends. The place is nearby Singapore and we really had a wonderful time together.

Mother’s Day! Ej went back to Philippines to attend her sister graduation day. My Mama Ging and Pa Resty went to Bohol to attend my Lola’s birthday, Olaivar’s family reunion and fiesta.

Our 10 years anniversary! We processed our visa on the first week of August. On the third week I was hospitalized. Doctor found an ovarian cyst on the right side of my ovary and they remove it immediately because it’s causing me pain. My sister Gadz push her flight to Singapore.

Whole month on medical leave! I was on recovery period during this month, I was lucky enough I have my sister to look after with me while EJ is at work. I was practicing walking, I was afraid to walk fast on the first two weeks, got fully recovered after a month.

My sister Gadz found a job, my friend April help us to extend her stay. This month is the most memorable month of our 2015, I travelled alone going to Barcelona! We spent 7 days for our Europe Trip. Had a great time in Barcelona and Paris. Attend another boss wedding, first time to witnessed Indian wedding at the temple.
November
Our dear cousin Merife celebrated her 25th birthday in Singapore. EJ went to Bali and flight has been cancelled due to Mount Rinjani volcanic eruption.

We completed Simbang Gabi in Singapore and celebrated the Christmas Eve with April’s family and friends.
Overall, I’m so thankful, indeed, everyday God’s blessing and mercy bestowed upon us in every aspect of our life. I’m thankful for I have family who’s always there for me no matter what. I’m thankful.
